Default Zero-balanced forged rotating mass, built heads, block...

UPDATE 01/16/2018: Thanks to all of the people interested in my engine items! As of this writing (Monday, 01/16/2018 at about 12:25 pm PST), all of the items in this thread have been sold.

Good afternoon, all:

A bunch of DE-items.

For sale in this thread are: (1) A zero-balanced rotating mass consisting of Manley Turbo Tuff Rods, Wiseco 11:1 (standard bore) pistons and rings, a crank, and a set of ACL rod bearings. (2) A pair of DE-heads. Decked .003", Crower springs, Supertech lifters and shims, Tomei cams (272 intake, 264 exhaust, both are 10.5 mm lift), Ferrea +1 valves for both intake and exhaust. Note: one head has a leftover stud for rear water pipe in it. Threads are fine, but the male torx portion is gone. I left it in because it shouldn't present any problems during assembly. See picture below. (3) A prepped block. It was machined for the pistons I'm selling. 95.5 mm bore, thoroughly cleaned but uncut. Oil squirters and head-deck dowels are included.

These items were prepped and never assembled. They haven't been run after the machine work was performed. Everything was stored in my house save for the block which was stored in the garage.

I'm asking $1400 for the heads shipped within the US. The rotating mass is $1350 (also shipped in the US). The block is $325 (US shipping included as well). Reasonable offers will definitely be considered.

Please note: If you are local (within 250 miles) and are willing to meet me half-way somewhere on a weekend, there are discounts available. Also, if you'd like more than one item (these were all meant to go together anyway), there are also discounts to be had here.

All questions and inquiries welcome.

Pictures below.

Hello, all:

I haven't updated the original post in awhile, but the heads were sold in early December. That has been there for some time, but a lot of people have either not responded to my pm's or have backed out, so it can be difficult to keep track of who is truly interested.

My apologies for any confusion on that.

The rotating mass and block are still available.

Wiggle room is there on the price for the rotating mass. The block price is a little more "fixed" due to its weight and bulk. However, if you live within 500 miles and don't mind meeting me part way on a weekend, then there is more room for bargaining on both items...especially if you'd like them both. They were originally meant to go together anyway.

Please PM me with any inquiries. I try to check back at least once every 24-48 hours.

Thanks to all,
agr12

If those rods were h beam id be interested. Im in the market for some new pistons and rods to go higher in boost for my FI set up.

Been looking at wiseco and Manley innards.

I don't think you'd have going wrong with my stuff (save for the high compression ratio), but as of yesterday afternoon, everything was sold.

I'm familiar with the "H-beam vs. I-beam" debate, but I'm not sure what the consensus is. You probably know more than I do about that.

I may wind up doing exactly what you have planned, but later on down the road.

Yea with our specific engines I think the H beam is preferred. From what I've read most of the downside of H beam is the weight and extra mass. But since our engines use rotational mass to build power I can only see that being a benefit.

Not to mention H beam is usually indistructable being over built and one of the strongest designed. I beam is better suited for revs and to reduce rotational mass.

Glad you sold it all. Some great parts.
