Well im not exactly a Z owner anymore having sold my 05, I'm arriving in germany in about 2 weeks with my modded g35 coupe getting in sometime in late sept or early oct. I'll be in the ansbach area though.

 

what is this race warz u speak of tell me more about it

I'm still trying to get more info, but it's kind of like a NOPI event in Germany (1/4 mile races, car shows, dB drags for stereos, etc...)

Someone told me that there might be one this weekend, and I'm struggling to find more info.

 

yea i've heard of it, and we have talked about it also on this thread. we refer to it as k-town i know, it sounds stupid but everyone here refers to it as k-town and me and mac d r really close to it maybe 10mins.

ya i know about it being called k town. some people dont know it by that. where are you guys stationed at? im in iraq right now but from baumholder. ill try to find out anything i can about it and get back. when i get back we'll have to meet up or something. see if i can get my wife to do a small photo shoot.(she needs more for her portfolio)

 

sounds good man.........i am meeting more and more guys that have Z's which at first was a bummer as i was trying to be "the one" LOL! but it is cool we have swapped ideas and all. Al, i got a present for you if you want it......but you have to ask.

anyway.........i found a tune shop up in Hannover, it is a little bit of a drive but they cater to our rides. they want 900 Euros to tune but that includes a Dyno and about 4-5 hours of work. the dude told me that i should put on my headers and HF cats first as that will help with the tune.

i should be heading up there in the next couple of months though because those parts will be on soon. i will let you guys know but it should be lovely......

Yo whatsup guys! I will be Moving to Germany this time next year and I should be around the K-Town aread or Frankfurt. I will also be bringing my modified Z with me. I normally visit Germany every other month so I am there quite often. It is really cool to see that the Z population is growing. I thought I was gonna be lonely for a second there. I wish I could move there this year though.

I have seen video's or race wars on streetfire but that is about it. Never seen a website or what not.

 

Does anyone know where I can get my Z tuned around here?

 

I'm also stationed in Baumholder, currently in Iraq. Assuming I don't have it sold first, I'll have my '04 350Z shipped over for my return to Germany. I will probably enjoy it while in Germany and attempt to sell it on the German economy if possible prior to leaving. Anyone have any experience doing this before? I know all the rules involved and modifications Germans would need to perform for a US Spec car, but am curious if there is much demand for a US Spec car in the first place (especially in this economy).

I am also debating having that '04 sold and going for an '08 Nismo if there is a good enough deal out there. There's got to be some German out there that would want a Nismo version! Oh well, I'll probably just enjoy my '04 once I get done in Iraq. Only way I'd upgrade is if I could justify it to myself financially.

 

Was up guys!! I will be taking my 350z to Germany in Dec 09. I have a 400HP eclipse GST right now and it loves the Autobahn. But I'm selling ot when I get back. My Z is in FL getting the turbonetics kit put on and all the body work done. Once I have it in Germany we should get some meetings going on and take some rides to like Hooters . Does anyone know of some decent shops near K town.

@ECLIPSEGST25: there´s a shop near frankfurt, which is one of germanys number one tuner when it comes to Z´s...it´s called quantum auto sport (or short QAS).they have a webpage: www.quantumautosport.com
they could hook you up with everything you need (but i think they´re a little bit conceited).

I'm not a z driver anymore, but i'm up for bringing my g35 to a meet. That tuner has got some expensive prices, I'm really glad I can do my own utec tuning.

I have a UTEC too. I'm having Titan motor sports in orlando tune my Z before I take it to Germany. I'm just worried about passing inspections with the exhasut. But as soon as I get the car to Germany we should deff have some meets.
