Default German Spec to U.S. Spec

I was wondering if anyone knew the cost of converting a German Spec 350Z to a U.S. Spec 350Z.

Last year I totaled my Z, due to ice on the autobahn, and I am looking to get another; however I can't seem to find any U.S. Spec 350Z that are newer for sale.

If the cost is not that high to convert it to U.S. Spec then I would like to pick up a German Spec.

Any help on this would be appreciated, thanks.

Euro Spec has a few minor changes from US Spec

1. The glass is a lot lighter because DOT spec ones req thicker ones for safety purposes and so on...

2. Bumpers have these nozzles that come out and "clean" your headlights

3. One reverse light is turned into a fog light

4. If you plan on bringing it back the the US then you would have to pay import taxes depending on the year, probably have to convert all your glass to DOT spec, and probably add a bunch of other "safety equipment" too.

So after all of that if I were you I would buy an M3 or an Audi S4
