John,

First of all, thank you to the Stillen team for throwing such a great event. I love how the open house was thrown together. I felt very at home and mellow as the staff seemed to have such a great handle on everything as well as very receptive personalities.

I hope that you did not mistaken the fact that I did post the big bold letters above, but was merely quoting it. Thank you for taking the time to address the bathroom situation as it is relieving to know that you guys made an effort to improve on the situation rather than leaving it be.

I personally think you guys did such a phenomonal job on everything else that it more than makes up for the small mishap that accidentally happened. If I would have known that the Stillen open houses were like this, I would have gone the past two years as well.

See all of you guys at next year's event,
Rick

Default Disappointed.....

What ever happened to the free food, that was one of the good things about Stillen Meets that no other meets had for the people coming out to see the show and participate in it................

I know it was for a good cause the boy scouts but i think next year the least u guys can do after making sales on that day, showing visitors the facility and the equipment u guys make for vehicles that would up your sales.........i know nothing in life is free but having some burgers and hotdogs like before doesnt seem like it could be a big expensive. If it was done before why not continue it, Stillen is a big company it doesnt always have to be about profit u could give back a little, rite?

Dude, you are probably the only person who went there for free food instead of cars lol. Are you really that upset that you didn't get a free weiner? All I am saying is that its about the cars. Besides, with free food, imagine how much worse that lone port-o-potty would have been...

RE: Free food.

The event is getting so large that the amount of staff required to man the food cooking and distribution had simply become unmanageable. The more Stillen employees we have behind the grille the fewer we had for the more exciting activities like seminars, dyno's (i know), tours etc... We had the opportunity to support the boy scouts and still provide food so we thought that would be a fair compromise. There were 1200+ people in attendance so this proved to be a sound decision as we really need to stay focused on the event. If you'd rather have more free food and less "show" stuff let me know and we'll take that into consideration.

i thought it was a great idea that they had a fundraiser at the meet. why should stillen provide free food anyways? they already offered a closed street for us to show off our rides and a open house. it was my first stillen meet and i was definately surprised with all the people that came out. great meet

Yeah Andy is right it's the JDM Viral Sports Kit or Anceltion. I worked hard on getting him that kit and I actually got it for him from the first owner that had it here in the states. So now that makes him the first to have it here in the states. It's a real nice kit.... I think so anyway.
