I just walked in the door, we left Fontana at noon....
I will be uploading what pics I have... Idwin had the nice camera, but I have about 14 hours of video I need to mark and edit tomorrow!
We stopped this morning on the tail and talked to a local that said 2 Z's had hit head on left fender to left fender, if anyone knows details speak up.
We were planning to take our group out to the Cheoah river to raft but we saw 2 rescue operations on a run Saturday, one involving medflight where they shut down 143 landed right on a bridge in front of us, I have that footage too.
BTW, if you own a Daytona Blue 03-05 and you cruised on I-40 from Memphis to I-30, that was us!

I heard that a 350Z from Forged Performance was looking for a wrecker on Sunday morning. The guys were at Deal's Gap motocycle store looking for wrecker.
Also, a Miata ran off the ditch on Saturday, 5 bikers died and one white water rafter drowned Saturday. Also a 300ZX (Z32) got bit by the dragon and lost it. Lucky to have a guard rail on the edge or she would have went over the side.

It was not the Forged group, it was the AMZ group from Canada. One car with an Automatic Transmission stopped shifting, they were going to fly home and get the truck/trailer to come back down and get the car.
Their group started at 5:00 AM and lost 6 hours on the one car.
At least they got to drive all weeked before it broke.

any way to confirm the 5 deaths? thats quite a bit.
The 300zx was from ontario, i think it was AMS. It was the silver with the carbon fiber/silver wing. very modest guy.
anyone know if that tamayo is on here?
suggestions for zdayz next yr: the food sucked, not worth the price. I know the price is probably from what fontana charges ( 12 bucks for lunch and 11 bucks for a breakfast buffet
