I was turning around on the Dragon @ that little paved spot at the TN/NC line and noticed that there was a big open "gated community" with a dirt & rock road... So I decided to see where it went
The video is actually from the end back to the entrance. Looks like it was going to be a bunch of nice cabins with large wooded lots and mountain views. I'm assuming it crashed with the economy so now its just a loooooong *** curvy dirty road with one lonely empty cabin (unfinished/4 sale/$250k). The video isn't anything special since I'm taking it pretty easy in the G35 but this road (Cheoah Overlook) would be in something you could raise hell in and not worry about the rocks shredding up your paint.
^^ Interesting. I always wondered what was down there. I skimmed through the video. Did I miss seeing the cabin?
It's driveway cuts off of the main dirt road and goes down the mountain a bit so you couldn't see it on the way back. It's right where the trees are cleared out the most about 1/2 way through and you can see the mountains.
