Default Los Angeles Lowrider Show!

Yes.... I said Lowrider show!

I know there's a few of you in here who also enjoy other types of cars, not just Nissan's or imports in general.

Not to mention, most of the ideas cross-pollinate from one industry to another. That's how ideas are born.

Anyway, here's some highlights of the show.... which seemed to be nothing but heavy hitters!

Seriously, as we walked in my buddy who's never been to a lowrider show asked a fair question; how can you tell half-assed lowrider from one that's well put together?

Since he's all about the import scene, he made sense when he said "if it's using fake wheels and 'ebay' parts; it's rice and easy to spot!" But a lowrider, they all look expensive! LoL

Anyway, if you guys want to see some more of the lowrider show, there's almost 1000 pics here.

Enjoy!

I always wanted a 63 or 64 impala, but gets pretty expensive and a lot of work for a car that you can not drive daily.

I can understand why, but you have to respect the work that those people put into them. By all means the murals and paint jobs get a little crazy and artistic not my cup of tea but they are artistic. I like the simple clean look.

Amazing work..... At the end of the day well executed low riders clearly show skill and style and the love people show them... Not a bad way to memorialize some of the older cars we have in America..

What is the point of spending a ton of moey to make 2000hp( a little exaggeration ) and not use it except for dyno's?

Because Tralier queen

Always loved the detail they put into these machines.

one of the things i used to really hate about seeing cars in magazines with all their specs layed out is no dyno numbers and 1/4 times!!!
