Default Tomei Extreme headers and test pipes.. CHEAP

Selling a set of headers and test pipes for a hell of alot less than what I paid for them last month. I'm going boost so these need to go. I'm looking for 600.00 shipped for both but I will separate if I can get 400.00 for the headers and 200.00 for the test pipes.. the caveat is that I need the money for both of them before I ship.

I'm interested in the headers. Out of curiosity, what kind of performance gains would i see with just the headers? thanks

I'm not sure exactly... I've read something along the lines of 7-10whp assuming you have intake/catback

My car went from 242 WHP with just a spacer to 257 WHP w/ HFCs and headers. So I would say the 7-10 is a good estimate given that HFCs should be good for about 6-8. My headers are also Strups, so these are probably better.

Great price!

will these fit an 06 revup, or were they for the DE only?

They are for a DE... I'm not 100% sure if there's a difference between the Revup/Non-Revup header.

I saw that he said they were for de after i posted. and i tried googling it, but i couldn't find much information if it would fit both, or just the DE. Ive been trying to search some more to find if its compatible and im having a bit of a hard time, and was hoping someone with more knowledge then me might know. a website i found selling it new said it would fit 03-06, mine being 06, but it also said the DE engine and didn't say revup, but only revup was offered in 06, and i believe 05 as well, so i was a bit confused and hoped for some clarification.

The '06 REVUP motor was a revision of the DE, but still the same platform. HR would be the other motor type offered later. They're very easily distinguished in that the DE employs a single throttle body feeding into the back of the intake plenum whereas the HR employs dual throttle bodies feeding the plenum sides.

For the record and per the research I've done, DE headers will fit an HR motor, and HR headers will fit a DE motor. The difference is in the flange for the catalytic converter, so you have to employ the cats designed for the DE if using the DE headers, and employ the cats for the HR if using the HR headers. The exhaust flange of the cats is the same.

I'm not sure if the cats can still use the brackets if going that route, but you're not in that case anyway.

To simply answer your question, these headers will work fine on the 06 REVUP motor.

Thank you very much, that helped me understand much more. a little reading after the post i made earlier showed me that the revup is still a form of the DE engine.
