Nissan sells little tubes of touch-up paint that are the same exact colors as the stock nissan colors and you can use that to fill in any nicks you get from driving. I've used it on my DB a few times.

I got my painter to put 2 extra layers of clear coat on my nismo bumper, and I don't have a single rockchip after 3,000 miles

clear bra for the lip. Most places who do it can do a custom one for the lip. I had my whole bumper done custom and after 9 months, 0 chips : )

yea I have some but it just seem darker than the DB on the car.

As for the front lip I needed to pull the bumper the other day to install come clear side markers and after taking a closer look at the bottom of the lip (really messed up from driveways) I noticed they just did a SH$$ job on the paint. Didnt even put primer down just DB over the plastic so I will not worry about these chips now and just get the kit re pained this spring

i'm wanting to get my whole car redone. the paint on these from the factory is VERY thin. i know, save weight where you can, BUT i'd rather it look good for a long time than look beatup for weight savings. oh yeah and there is no clear on the factory paintjob either.

It's just thin like the rest of the car. The extra coats of clear will offer some extra protection until it has had time (months) to fully cure. It will be stronger but will be harder and chip also. Just not as often.
