Default Sparco Seats & Harnesses

Here are a few shots of my sparco harnesses and sparco Torino Seats. I simply love the setup. Thanks goes out to Gary King of G Rides for great deal and outstanding customer service. The car is quite dirty, but thats Chicago for ya. Another thanks goes out to Bruce of BCR for the awesome Harness Bar. Easily the best solution if you are looking at adding a harness bar to your 350z.

Did you get Sparcos new laser cut brackets? I just installed my torinos and passenger side did not line up I want to see if other people are having these issues. Curious have you had harness's before why did you go with them. I had them in my previous two cars and hated to strap into challenger one to run to the grocery store

Thanks,

Chris

Looks great! I didn't realize you have an '04 Z. If not, I see you have the shoulder belt extenders. I didn't see/notice them when I saw your car.....MIGHT have been the tint! I think you're the 1st BCR harness bar customer to install in an '04!

Did you have to make any alterations?

Would you please take a picture of the inside of the "B" pillar?

yep, install wasnt that much difficult. I just had to hold the seat belt assembly together with the bar, and it worked out great. I will snap some photos this afternoon. As for the base/sliders they actually lined up pretty much perfectly. With the BCR Harness bar i can use the stock seat bealts for quick runs to the grocery store, so thats not a problem. These are my first sets of harnesses and i choose Sparco simply because i heard good things, and it matched the seats.

Seats should be normal wear and tear...Nice thing about Sparcos is the most common wear spot sholder closest to door can just be reupholstered, weight difference is not terribly large maybe between both no more than 25 lbs. You fit snuggly in them to movement is incredibly restrictive as these are for race applications primarily. Harness's look cool, I had them in my previous cars, thats nice you don't have to use them...Word of caution with harness they have to be tight to you not at all loose...Kill your back if not tightened properly like a roller coaster

are the torinos more or less comfortable than the stock seats. i think the stock seats are pretty uncomfortable. also, how costly and/or how much of a pain is it to mount the seats. i like the looks of the torinos...i just dont want a downgrade in comfort. i am a 195lb 5'10" guy. lemme know what you think.

well im about a 6ft 215lb guy and their a bit tight at first for sure. but they actually do mold for the most part to your body. i think they are actually very comfy. The material is definetly much nicer and mounting the seats was a bit of a pain, and required a few trips to the hardware store. Try to sit in them before buying them if possible.
