Just like you stated. Tint usually doesn't look good on white compared to other colors. If you have to second guess and ask twice...just go with your gut feeling.

don't you want people to see who's rolling up in that white Z?
if your all tinted out, you're just the mystery man in there when you drive by. Thats why I like having my windows untinted.

Counter argument- I have a expensive subs and very expensive amps that you can see through the window in my hatch. I am worried that someone may look through my hatch and see them and then break into my car to steal them.

I guess in the end its really personal preference. Whatever you do, DONT get that ugly smoke tint that goes from gray at the bottom to black at the top. Thats so hideous.

Friend of mine has a PPW Z and has 20% on sides, rear and strip on front and the tint looks really nice on his car. I went with 35% on sides and rear on my SS Z and I still think his 20% tint looks better than mine.

The Blue colored tint that comes on the newer mercedes might look nice on ppw.

That looks like Tropical Park

Hey Jaki, where did you get your tints and how much was it? I am contemplating on putting some on or not, so I wanted to see what the big deal is about the Llumar tints. I don't need the front strip though.

Yep, that's Tropical Park.

I got it done in Jacksonville, FL when I was there for a school break, paid $149 for everything (including the front strip). If you do a search on google you should be able to find a place in Miami where they put Llumar tint, I'm really happy with the quality and I only hear good things from people that have the Llumar tint.

completely blacked out tint, nah. but the lighter tinit where you can still see through a little looks good on white.

Well, I've always liked it really dark on (white cars especially), and in Georgia the state law requires the tint to be no more than 32%, which sucks if you too like it dark because no tint shop is allowed to go darker.

So, you can either do it yourself (not recommended) or find someone that'll do you darker, if you like it.

But, the big caveat being that it'll depend on what kind of night visibility you want.
