Thumbs up Interest in leather or suede door skins?

I am currently talking to a shop about covering my door panels with black suede.

After seeing someone else's thread about this I thought if there is enough interest I could possibly have the shop make a bunch in either suede or leather and maybe we could get them cheaper.

I'm thinking they could just make a pattern type thing and then people could either install the skins themselves or take them to a shop to get it done. Should work out to be a lot less money than getting custom work done.

Any interest?

It'd probably be cheaper to go to an upholstery shop and get a quote through them.

I'd be interested in some kind of black leather upgrade, but after seeing the pictures of the orange pumpkin suede i think I'd also consider some kind of two-tone leather such as black and maybe a medium grey.

Let me know what you're thinking about in terms of cost.

Earlier this summer I was looking for an upholstery shop to re-do my sun visors (Don't you just love those air-bag warnings). I had absolutely no luck.

At least 3 (and probably more) UPHOLSTERY SHOPS have gone out of business near where I live. One guy told me that there isn't any money in it anymore.

Sorry, but I'm not getting my hopes up that there will be a shop willing to do this for us.
