this may be why distributors are not interested.

you have no business documents, which makes your products a liability if they fail. distributors dont know the true quality/fitment of your product. you are a single person? so what guarantee do you have that you will deliver the products in a timely manner. etc. the reasons go on.
I sincerely doubt it is a one-person company. http://www.speed-racing.com/

nice, only problem is if you keep the mesh silver then the exhaust will blacken it with carbon deposits......unless you painted the mesh black.....how about leaving the pick as you have it above & adding in 2 exhaust tips into the center section, one on each side of the slots. just for kicks!......everytime i see that rear bumper cover & spoiler i get that squirly feeling inside, i really like them! im surprised vendors arent taking any interest in this kit!

perhaps the vendors are busy vending and don't actually read the rest of the forum. besides, with todays exchange rates, where 1 euro is almost 1.40 us, this is one way expensive kit.

Well perhaps, but speed-racing mentioned he was contacting vendors not just waiting for some to browse the forum in hpoes to see his kit, also if you were following the thread the coversion was done to u.s. dollars & the prices were surprisingly affordable. Even if a distributor were to tack on a few bucks it would still be considerably affordable. Heck its basically an $800 kit with $800 in shipping fees from italy w/o a u.s. distributor, I've seen a lot worse than that for pieces that don't look 1/2 as good........sorry, didn't mean to sound hostile, I'm just wanting this kit to hit the states so I'm looking for logical reasons why vendors here aren't going for this kit? I'm sure there's some inbetweens I don't know about being a distributor & getting started with this italian kit........

yes, and the conversion rate was stable for a long time. To the average European, who doesn't follow it, I would imagine they still think a euro is a dollar, as it started out to be.,It was, until a couple months ago, the dollar is going down the toilet. I don't set the conversion rate, check it out for yourself. I spend a lot of time in europe, and actually want to visit their shop next time i'm in milan. If the exhange rate gets better, I'd like one too http://www.xe.com/ucc/

The vendors I have spoken with have said this:

> I saw it, but the way the currencies are now, and the fact that we
> have no idea who they are, its too risky of a proposition I think

I want this so bad I have talked with Speed-Racing about distributing it for him. It just is just really not my field.

I love this thing as well. First kit I've ever seen in two years of posting here to really spark my interest.

yes the prices were listed a couple pages back. the prices were converted from euro to u.s. dollars using a current conversion chart. the prices were extremely fair! the only problem is the cost to ship from italy to the u.s., the shipping fees were listed as $800!

laidbackracr, i feel you, i want this kit bad as well but distributing the kit requiers you to purchase the kits & pay the shipping here. i wish i could but i cant afford to do that.....i wont pay rediculous amounts for the kit just to say i own one but i would be more than happy to help aid in helping the kit make it to the states! everytime i look at that rear valence & spoiler i get nuts!

yes, I ordered a full kit minus the wing.
Other UK owners have ordered other parts of it. Many others are waiting to see the quality of it. I can't wait to get my hands on it
I am gladly helping Emanuele distributing this in the UK.

a proposito Emanuele ti telefono domani x sentire come sta procedendo l'ordine

Guys just to let you know this is not a 1 man venture, they specialised originally in tuning Smart cars, but thay are not just a bodykit company. They are actually developing their own twin turbo setup for the Z. Can't wait to hear more about that too!!!

Why is the shipping from Italy to the US so much? I remember when I bought my Impul wing from Z1 they had to import it straight from Japan, and still they only charged me 110 on shipping for it.

Well, I am IN on the rear piece for sure if somebody ever gets this thing over here. We should see if there is a better shipping option...i.e. it seems like we have enough interest to buy many pieces. I bet we could get a good deal on one big shipment and then have one of us split it up a reship once in the U.S I know its a lot of trouble but I think its worth it.
