Thumbs up Bat's Nav Door Overlay(PICS)!

Finished my first Overlay of the New Year for the Nav Door. I went with Silver, to match my Gauge Pod Toppers, and would go nicely with them. I really liked the way it turned out and the texture of the door shows through the Overlay . Enjoy!

znd1 Nav Door Overlay $12
Carbon Fiber Finish $15

email me to order:

That looks good. Can anyone chime in as to how easy those would peel off? I am interested in ordering but i wouldn't want to have to deal with peeling.

They can be removed easily, just apply heat with a hairdryer .

Bat--

For those of us who don't know, can you explain how your overlays are installed? I'm guessing some sort of adhesive...?

The nav door looks hot, BTW.

TIA.

Should do entire thing for sure.
Looks good but the entire panel needs to be done along with the shift cover.

Well...let me start by saying that the part i got to fit well looks FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC. My problem was/is that i'm not very proficient with the hair dryer and getting the overlay to curve without creasing. I managed to leave only 3 small creases, but it doesn't look professional or clean.
Bat, flat surfaces are one thing, curved are another. I think it would be beneficial to include a little blurb on how to get the overlay to curve without creasing.
With that said, once i learn how to do it right, I'm gonna need to buy another cf overlay from you.
I'll post pix if you want, but i would rather wait til i get it right.

Is the technique like installing headlight protector films? Heat is up until the material is flexible and smooth it out to fit the contour?
