Default help!!

My car's at the Nissan dealership right this second. The "tech" is saying that it's normal for there to be scratches from the hood onto the front strut bar. This is definitely not true. Could you guys please post responses that you're not experiencing this problem? That you don't have any scratches on the bar? Please, I really need some help! Thanks

if you have OEM strut bar and OEM hood, there shouldn't be any scratching...the tech is BS'ing you

I experienced a similar situation. A dealer scratched my front strut bar during my car's first oil change. I went back in and politely demanded a new strut bar. Two weeks later I had one in my hands. Best part is they let me keep the old scratched one...so I left it on. I figure with their clumsy techs it'd probably get scratched again. Some day if I sell/show the car, or find an amazingly competent place to service it..I will install the new shiny one. My guess is it happened when they were removing your oil filler cap.
