Default c-west n1 front bumper

anyone sell the authentic c-west front bumper for under $700? has anyone heard about the quality of the replica c-west n1 front bumper? i know several places carry it, i believe its made by carbon creations & goes by the name of "c2 front bumper". i know you get what you pay for but i have seen some nismo replicas that were extremely good quality & fit for a fraction of the original cost.......just curious, the front bumper will be my final deciding piece for my bodykit. this bodykit process including the price of purchasing, shipping & then fitment/painting is pretty costly, im not trying to cut corners, merely hear from those who can offer input on this subject........thanx for any input you can offer.........

yeah thats the one that i saw that was a replica, its what made me ask about the replicas quality & fit. i was hoping i could find some comments on the replication........id rather buy the original c-west front bumper but $710 is a tad high for only a bumper. just hard to justify when i can get the nismo replica bumper that i know is good fit & quality from performance nissan as well as my sideskirts for the same price as the c-west bumper alone.......thanx for your input!

IMO if you plan on painting it, it really wouldn't matter which one you choose. Some of the replicas are actually pretty nice. But the c-west urethane is really nice, light and flexible.
It's pretty much up to your own preference.
I personally wouldn't do the replicas only because that's my preference.

well, im just trying to figure whats best. at $375 for the replica as compared to $710 for the original, both would have equal shipping fees as well as equal painting fees. the replica may need a little more labor to get the fitment just right or the surface finish to be perfect. i just cant see an extra $335 in labor on the replica, unless of course it is just horrible quality. and this i dont want to gamble on. i wish somone here could respond on the replications quality!
i hear ya on the replica issue. i truely would love to just get the c-west original bumper along with all the other body pieces im ordering but as i mentioned in my original post, the cost of all the items, then shipping, then prep, fitment & paint is going to be rediculous...i certainly dont want any regrets when its done, im just having trouble justifying all the costs!

thanx for your input!

I've got a 350zforums.com c1 front end at the body shop right now. The price was great $289+ shipping, but the bumper needed glass work. Other than that the fitment is gauranteed, and the fitment was good. It just needed about $300 dollars worth of work to make it right. A part around the upper intake hole sagged or was not molded right. Its getting sprayed this weekend and should be on my car by early next week. I'll post pics.

Just to let you all know, CWest currently does not have a DIRECT distributor in the US since their contract cancelled with motorex. Word is that they will have a new one set up soon, so anything CWest that needs to be ordered from japan, will probably take a while.

your talking about the fiberglass c2 bumper, not the c/f bumper right? glad to hear it was good quality. so the only modifications to the bumper were around the headlamps? everything else lined up like stock? if you dont mind id like to hear what you were charged for the finessing to get it to fit right.

Can you email me pics? myz8a4re@aol.com

Thankyou! i really appreciate any help you can offer!

Contact Vivid Racing, their a sponsor on here...I originally bought the CWest N1 bumper from them and the quality of the piece was amazing...The fiberglass was really nice. I ended up selling it to another forum guy though. Sirmike...something...can't remember though...He got it painted and installed in SS.
