Actualy it was satinized aluminum but the camera messed it up. Chrome was also available. And there was a mirror polished **** available too.
Picture was only ment to show how thin the lever had to be to make sufficient thick "fingers" between the gates. Lever necceesarily had to be made of forged material to not break or bend under spirited shifting.
