white shift ****
Has anybody found available a white ball shift ****? This would resemble an old style Hurst shifter ball from the sixties.
Since day 1 I've been looking for one to replace the stock shift ****. I think the chrome and black leather get too hot and the indent irritates my palm. A white ball wouldn't get nearly as hot and I think it would more comfortable.
Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

LOL, I was thinking the same thing! An original Hurst **** felt great, might be a little too old school for a Z though. Hurst still makes a universal **** that might work. http://go.mrgasket.com/pdf/hurst2001access.pdf
Take pics if you do it!

Thanks to you both.
I wondered about whether anyone, unless some of us of the over 45 crowd, would know about these old type *****. That damn shift pattern medallion insert ridge drives me crazy, the dealer even swapped one out for me. This second one is better than the original, but still sits in a bad spot in my palm.
Over the years I've taken to using my kids' [they span from 21 y/o down to 3 y/o so I 've had a good supply over the years] tiny socks to cover the shift *****, for both the heat and cold depending on the time of year. Works OK but it's not a tight grip and you have to be a bit careful if you jump on the car so you don't miss a shift.
I'll use the links you've given.
Thanks again.
