Default what color to paint headlight housing?

i might be clearing/painting my headlights soon, but not sure what color i want to do

it's either gonna be, sliver, black, or red

i'm leaning toward silver for a clean look, but i think red or black could also look real nice! i haven't seen any red Z's yet w/ any type of headlight modification

what do you guys think?

i'm pretty sure there's a little light behind the amber strup in the headlights, how does it look once you've taken the amber out?

also, if you've painted the housing, and the chrome by the turn signal, how does it look now when you put your turn signal on?

Man, I want to see Ellas1's lights, as well as the Daytona Blue ones installed.

old_s13, if you're reading this, did you ever get pics of them installed?

Thanks!

if you black out the headlights and still want the amber strip to glow somewhat from the light thats behind them then paint everything except for the silver behind the strip itself. The headlights will be black but the strip will still be amber and light up like it does stock

Hey Dave079,

Your chromed out Headlight looks sweet!

Did you remove the HID bulb and balast from the Headlight prior to baking them in the oven?

Rgd,
Mickey
