i dont like the intense power lip whatsoever. at first i thought it was great, because its not expensive, its made of abs, and you can have it prepainted for 80 bucks. but as i looked at the lip closer, it just does not got with the lines of the car. it reminds me of an overexaggerated nismo lip. i think the veilside lip looks like it should have came from nissan, with the nismo lip being the second best.

I just got mine a few days ago, and I am happy with my decision.

txsunset, any tips on installing? Not sure where the "stepped" brackets go.

I'm thinking of using 3M double sided tape for the center section.

Sure, I'll take a ton of pix when I install. Need to find the slick rubber fillers I saw an a GREAT looking Brickyard Z at the meet yesterday though......

Mine will remain butt ugly unpainted black gel coat, as I know the realities of driving my Z on the track

My lip is for function....I hope!

Veilside V1.

(Sorry for the small pic, I hate file size limits.)

I'll try to explain the placement of the brackets. One end mounts to the bottom of the stock lip, just in front of the black rubber air defector. The other end bolts to the bottom of the new lip. I did not use any 3m tape. Just the 2 brackets and the 4 self-tapping screws that mount in the wheelwells. I did have to do some trimming with a dremmel on the ends of the part that fits in the grill opening to get it to fit properly. I also went to the hardware store and bought 4 new black screws to replace the 4 chrome self-tapping ones that came with the lip. Looks much better with black ones.
I'll try to take some pics this afternoon and email them to you.

Thanks for the install help! I hoped I didn't have to use the 3M tape. Sounds like a fairly simple install. I do have a dremmel, so now I just need to find some time to get it on!

Pix would be great!

Got lip from intensepower.com

I use Super Glaze liquid wax made by The Wax Shop. Can get it at PeP Boys or Auto Zone.

I use Zaino as many other do.
I got the lip from Trent@MVP Motorsports.

BTW, the pic is small, so it doesn't show tons of scratches/rock chips/ door dings and stuff. I recently got a HUGE door dings at Atlanta during spring break, and it was so bad that it even chipped off the paint!

Anyone recommend dent removal shops in Central/South Indiana area?

the intense lip only looks good on dark colors, for example my black, with the dark colors it hides the aggressive lines and looks subtle with the car, with silverstone or liquid and all the others, its easier to see the lines of the lip.

here are some pics of my car with the intense lip with out sides and rear,

now here is the car with the veilside version 1 sides and rear, you really can't see it cause the car is dark.

Get the brand new GSC Power-Division Front Lip. It looks exactly like the veilside, except the lines from the hood are carried down to the middle of the lip (a real nice touch imo) and the fitment and material is better than the original veilside. We are trying to set up a group buy for 260 shipped.

SangWL,

Got more pics? The car looks awesome. The kit blends very nicely. Got more pics of just the front?
