Got a couple tickets before.. paid them (600 bucks) jsut to keep tint.. got pulled over again.. and i think this time i'll jsut take it off... not worth the harassment....

it looks like it can jsut peel off.. but then i dont want to mess up my windows...

thanks

i got a fix-it ticket a few years ago for the same and had to remove it myself. just peel off the film by working from the edge, and depending on the film, it may peel off in one piece or tear off into smaller pieces. anyhow, once it's all off, you'll notice a dried adhesive residue on the glass. it's a ***** to get off. what i did was to use a safe acetone solution (lady's nail polish remover does the trick) to disolve that crap off.

For the dried out adhesive, I used Bug and Tar remover. Takes awhile to do, but works.
