Default Sparco mounting I think

Well I've tried searching and have not found the answer yet. I have a Sparco evo that needs mounted. I bought it from a friend and he gave me the side bracket, side mount whatever you want to call them. I've looked on sparcos web site and found they have a universal base mount, other sites have a 350z specific base mount. How much work needs to be done the the universal, if a universal one fits why pay twice as much for a z specific? Also can I reuse the factory sliders?
I have'nt seen any of the mounting hardware in person so it's hard to to picture the answer to my questions. Hopefully some of the racing seat experieced can chime, ring or whatever deamed appropriate. late

You will have to buy custom mounting hardware for the seats. I forget who it is, I think its one of the Performance Nissan guys, but they have a connecton with Sparco and might be able to get you what you need. Expect ot pay around $150-200 per seat for the hardware I think.

BTW, I'd pay the extra $$ for the the real deal in terms of the mounting hardware. I've heard horror stories about other companies mounting hardware not fitting properly.

Hey Konspex-

i two sparco evo2s for the Z. the seat mount you need is the Z33 driver specific FLAT type bracket.

the seat bracket you get from sparco will need some work cuz they're pretty off as far as the holes being cut and trying to adapt them to fit all their seats.

i have a Driver side and Passengerside bracket for the Z for sale if you want, i never used them and ultimately went the custom route for mounting my Evo2s into the Z.

PM me if you're interested...
