I think it looks silly. I see cars like Civic's, Eclipses, and other cars with unpainted lips and bumpers. Lets keep it there.

Do you ever see ricers with unpainted body kits and no money left for rims parked outside of fast food restaurants right by the drive through window so they can glance and dream their next mods.

 

Well, the reason that I don't plan on painting it is because my girlfriend and I race, both autocross and standard road racing. We occasionally hit cones and if a painted part of the car hits the cone hard enough, it will crack the paint. It actually happened on my front bumper but the NISMO lip covers it up. So, I guess I could paint it, but it would just get cracked or scuffed every weekend, make any sense>
By the way, I got it from a local Nissan dealership, my friend is the parts manager, I'll find out how much he'll sell it for to you(solidsnake) and let you know.

My vote is for unpainted for the purpose its being used for, if it was painted it would look like crap from things hiting it. If it was a show car I would paint it.

 

Frostyrock, No. Looks much better painted although I understand why you are not painting it. Basically it is a tradeoff.

Westpak, your car looks alike like mine. Are you guys crusing to Key West this year? I met you and some of your club members down there in October of 2003.

I think the unpainted looks sweet on other colors (namely, silver and black) but it looks kinda "unfinished" on a DB. I understand your reason though, and I think this would look better than a painted one that's all chipped and cracked. Either way, your Z still looks good !
