Authentic Ings+1 half wing installed [pics inside]
Whassup everyone?
I just got my car back from getting my Authentic Ings +1 half wing installed. The wing itself was excellent fitment, and paint match is dead on thanks to Zpresence's advice to use Dupont base coat. This is a huge lesson to me--authentic is the way to go! The shop did not need to give me any "revised estimates" or anything...for sure the rest of the kit will be authentic too.
The shop charged me a lil much for the install but the end product is simply amazing. It makes me feel like my Z was naked before or something. Some people have asked me if my car is a new Porsche ahha....I'm loving it, gotta get the rest of the kit now =/ One thing I noticed is that the wing lenghtens the car, makes it look wider too from behind. Keep in mind the car needs to be clayed/washed--the wing is buffed/polished so the cars body's shine is not as brilliant. For this reason I'll post better pics later in the week (hell maybe even tomorrow).
Without further ado, here are the pics:

Holy paint match Batman!

I'm lovin it ahah!

Thanks all--perhaps its the angle. I was going to mold it, but I wanted it too look like a wing and not like an extension of the hatch (a la the Viper GTS coupe). It looks even better in person.

Well the authentic wing is about $700 shipped, and install runs anywhere from $180-$300.
I got the wing pretty cheap off of a member here and install was right at $230 or so. As far as molding goes, I want the wing to look like a wing and not an extension of the hatch. To me the molding hides the lines of the wing and makes it less special and appealing to the eyes.
You really have to see it in person to appreciate it.
