IMO...a good idea would be to offer the "background" painted in the car's color...just add it as an extra cost.

I believe someone has done that on a sunset orange. If anyone need to have custom kit made. I'll be glad to help.

So you will do custom work to the sidemarkers for an extra cost?

in AZ, it's illegal to have any sort of blue light on your car

it's an "emergency vehicle only" color for light on a car

IMHO...Just to let you guys know. The SB Z w/black background on LED's look's like a joke! Very dull with absolutely no contrast.

Here's my own personal experience...I own a SB ZR and I bought the evro-r LED from a fellow member in the classifieds. He own a silver Z with the silver evo-r....reason he sold??? NO CONTRAST to his Z....just dots sticking out like a sore thumb & something "cheap" looking! So I figure I would buy it because it would add contrast to my SB ZR. I thought about painting it SB but after seeing the previous photos...it does not look good at all. I now agree with the member who sold me his set as to why he sold it to me in the first place. moral of the story is...IMHO...it's not a good idea to match the color of your particular Z with the background of the LED's. Mine has the amber lights when lit.
All I need now is to install it!!!! lo
ps..I talked to an expert in regards to matching the identical color..he said it would be impossible!!!
Here's a pic of the 2001 concept Z...

Did you get the smoked clear one or did he just had it painted black back ground. Cuz our smoke version just look like JDM smoke reflectors. I guess everyone has its own taste... BTW: this is why we offer the silver version like the concept car and the smoke version for people who like blacked out...

JDMZ33....What I have is the silver version w/amber LED's of your product. I believe it will look awesome on my SB ZR, once installed... it will compliment my chrome grille, front badge & wheels!!
Another member mention about painting the background to "the color of the car" and IMHO it just won't work out. That is what I was referring to...No contrast! I'm not knocking your product but in fact I have been promoting it on other forums.

I don't want contrast. I want it to blend in and just look like I have LED's for turning signals in my front bumper.

nis350ztt....Please show me a pic....I would also add that in the daytime, all you would see is 6 dots & if the background was painted to the color...the color will not match. If that's your choice so be it!

Show you a pic of what? I don't think I have an example, but it isn't hard to imagine. The color will not match? How? You mean it wouldn't match if I got it already painted from them? Probably..
