For you people that have a replica JDM Nismo spoiler....

Where did you get your replica? How was the fitment, finish and quality? I have finally decided to get a replica Nismo, but don't know which one to get. I see that mynismo.com has a replica for $275, and various others on eBay for around $100. I would love to get the authentic JDM Nismo, but I just can justify $750 for a spoiler (plus paint & install), and I don't care for the US (Urethane) version.

How is the quality of the eBay spoilers? Is there a particular company that I need to look for? Is the Techno replica from mynismo worth the extra couple of hundred bucks?

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

 

i have a nismo replica i got from ebay...turned out good for me...just had to do a little more prep on it than usual, but no biggie.....heres a pic of how it looks....

i had one long time ago (march 2003). I hated it. So I ended up getting genuine JDM Nismo. But if I'm you, I will but it from MyNismo.com to make sure you're getting a good one. (I got my sideskirt from them and its made by Varis.)

 

Well, I spoke with Tony @ Performance this morning, and he said this was an excellent quality replica, and currently on his car. I went ahead an ordered one.

I spoke with a friend that said he would do the paint and install for $100. I'll be sure to post pics as soon as I get it installed.

 

That looks nice. I hate them on roadsters though. When ppl do that it looks so out of place.

 

Does anyone know the paint color code for the black strip on the spoiler? I would like to do the two-tone Nismo paint scheme, but afraid to put the wrong color there...
