Default "Stock Rear Aero Spoiler" Removal

It's not easy to remove. There is Automotive Dbl. adhesive tape around the entire perimeter of the spoiler. Yes there are (2) actual bolt connections, but there is also two "snap-in" plastic connectors on the rear edge abuot 16" apart of center.

I removed mine on a warm day to help the tape release. It took (3) guys at times to pull it up. Just try to get an edge up, and slowly keep pulling straight up. It may help to spray some lighter fluid on the tape edge, once you can see it a little under neath. It took 20 minutes of pulling and working at it to get mine off. That was after an hour of fooling around just to get it to come up a little. Be prepared to spend time cleaning where to tape was.
Have patience.....and good luck.

get fishing string and slowly but surely , work it back and forth under the spoiler. Kind of like flossing your teeth, but its flossing your spoiler. It take some patience...
