if i remember correctly you can feel the texture of the carbon fiber on the mclaren, i know on some carbon body super cars you can

wow ... i thought this thread was already dead ... once again, thanks for the compliment ...

Hood is just a WET CF ... and yea it is busy with all those louvers but my one my whole kits comes in, hopefully this coming Wednesday, it will a little better ...

yea, the hood was open due to need a little dremmeling for the latch... just test fitted it and it only takes about 20 mins to install (including waiting for my friend to grab his dremmel).

I'll take more picture once I wash my car ... and during daytime this time ...

The Bulge on the driver side vent is for an electrical device on our Japanese Z. These are the same hoods that we use on our Super Taikyu cars. Some people believe that he hood looks a bit busy, but I believe that its more because the rest of his body is stock.

Real CF parts are not in any way "rice". After all, they are real. Rice refers to pretending to be something you are not. Now.....fake CF is most definitely rice. A cheap knock off to give the illusion of the real thing.

I'm interested in a vented cf hood, but am hesitant because of water getting into the engine area. Is there a liner or some way of blocking the vents? What is every else doing? My Z is daily driver so I will definitely be getting wet!

Thanks for all the compliment.

Brandon, before you ask, I still need to test fit my front bumper, nor the sideskirt and the rear diffuser.

I couldn't have said it better myself bro. And I do agree that hood is very nice, rest of car needs a kit to keep up with hood though.
