Those factory mud guards are an option, yes?

A base model Z does not have them, right?

I'm hoping that they are an option and not included on the base.

Not sure, I bought an enthusiast and it came with mud guards. Friend of mine bought a touring, no mud guards

Yes, the splash guards are an option. Some of the dealers order the Zs with them already on.
