Default what kind of CF lip kits are there available for Z?

hi.

i am currently shopping for CF lip kits. not the full bumper. just the lips all around.

i was hoping to find the nismo kit in CF, but i guess they don't have it out there yet.

what kind of options do i have? plz list some names you know of, and possibly some pictures if you have them.

Thank you.

I've been looking for the same thing. So far I have found the APR Wind Splitter as well as a bunch of stuff on 350zforums.org store like the Top Secret CF Diffuser, CWEST Carbon Fiber Front, and Carbon Creations CF Lip.

You can also check http://www.i-m-racing.com/aeex.html, they have the Top Secret diffuser a little cheaper, but its still around $900.

The only thing I don't like about the APR wind splitter is that you have to run the stainless steel supports. But it seems simple and effective and not blingie/StUnNA looking

350zforums.org Carbon Creations Lip

Looks like they sell the lip separately for just under $400.

I don't know, why don't you call them up and ask them? I think the page says that because they just cut-and-pasted the ad copy.

FWIW, I found all the above using the search function and Google.com.

if you mix and match cf kits, is there a possibility the cf weaves are different colors?

say you got a c west lip with vis racing sides? say one be slightly darker than the other?

how does the cwest lip install? Do you need to drill holes into ur factory Bumper? Worried about leaving holes after I want to take it off someday.

your suppose to use self tapping screws two in the front (IMO not needed) and 2 on each side on the back part of the lip. very easy if you have a friend help you.

thanks nismo33. The two self tapping screws in the front: is it the front of the bumper where it will show when you remove the lip, or under the bumper towards the front where it won't show when you remove the lip? Thanks.

the real cwest cf kit has two pre drilled holes on the middle top part of the lip. look at the piture and you'll see two silver things in the middle of the lip. those screws. if you put it on with double sided tape instead. the side skirts and rear piece fit perfect. seriously this is one of the easiest kits to install. if you need help let me know i can give you step by step directions on the phone.

yes it is extremely easy to install. Fits awesome. no prep work nothing...just did it in my own garage with barely any tools. I didnt install the two front screws though because it was already snug enough.

And if you do get this kit, definitely PM nismo33...he's extremely helpful and knowledgeable in regards to this kit and its installation. I couldn't have done it without him.

Good luck.
