i did this rough, so people can get a basic understanding...

the nismo kit is everything in blue. it is not just the bottom lip all the way around the car.

this means the original nismo car was painted 2-tone on purpose... not to show off the parts.

i am bringing this up, cause now i am thinking about 2-tone again.

one last thing...

if for no other reason to get the nismo bumper...

the front license plate holder does NOT attach to the bumper cover. it includes a special bracket to mount the plate to. this in turn connects to 2 bolts in the grille area!!

see the pic above of the bumper, to get an idea of what i am trying to explain.

Way to go Michael! Congrats on the kit.

The only thing that I'm not sure I like about the kit are the rear bumper side pieces. They look kind of unfinished, when you can see the insides of them from the rear of the car.

Other than that, everything looks great, especially that wing and the front grill area.

Dang...I wish some Nismo boxes would show up at my house.

Barnicleboy, ,

What is your deal? If you don't like it, that's cool but don't go starting insulting someone because you'd make a different decision. One of the rules in the forum is no starting fights, we are finally starting to clean the forum and in doing so, we have no problem removing trouble makers.

Another rule is no sexist remarks, saying something looks gay could offend someone so please tone it down.
First off, it takes 2 to fight.. 1 to insult and another to be insulted. Any fights or insults should be have the blame shared cooperatively.

My wording will be written as I see fit. Im out to post my opinion and express myself. Not to be poltiically correct on the internet.

Potentially anything anyone says here can be taken the wrong way, so who is suppsed to curb themselve, the speakers or the onese taking offense?

There is much power in ignoring things.

Michael,

I think a lot of us will be very interested to see how close the paint match will be. Keep us posted.

As always, more pics

It looks like I will have to make a trip to DFW after you get it all completed.

JD

Barnicle-

There is one small thing you overlook in your position on this matter. You are posting to a membership forum that has rules. Jay is nicely pointing out that your comments are not in line with those rules. Please keep the rules in mind when posting.
