Well after trying to put on Bat's overlays, I have given up. I have tried the door barrels, which looked great for a day then started lifting off. I tried the AC vents in the brushed finish, and found that I could not get the top elbow to line up properly so the overlay kept wrinkling. Maybe du to the fact that the brushed aluminum overlay is a bit stiffer than the colors. I tried the upper gauge pod overlays, and they also keep lifting off at the edges. Plus the middle topper barely covered the gauge. The only ones that look good right now are the lower gauge overlays in the brushed finish. But I didn't even stick them down, they just sit there since they are a bit stiffer. I did everything like the instructions said. I cleaned the surface, then used a big bowl of water with a touch of soap and I used a blow dryer. But try as I may, they would not stay glued in place. I have never had this kind of a problem with overlays before, but maybe its me. I will have my parts painted so I know they are covered. SO, I have a rear strut overlay in LeMans Sunset if anyone is interested.
