this morning I had this crazy idea about this design, what do you guys think?

naw; stripes were made in the 70s when emmisions made cars slow. so they put decals on stuff to make it look fast. why would you want to further that.

even so; that looks "off" with the lines on the hood. not the centered bit; I know its PS'ed I mean even if it were straight. I dont think the Z would do well with lines.

Try moving it to the driver's side and see what it looks like. I have thought of this, but did not think of the hood lines. I would be interested to see it photoshopped.

I think he just used that pic to do a quick PS. You can get the headlights done like that by going to ClearCorners.com which is indicated at the bottom-right corner. A pricey mod (about $900) but the quality is there.

BTW...I'm not feelin the striping.

Hey, Bobbyz33... look at what I just found. OK, it is only a model, and hey, it's a 'Vette, but it is blue and it does have a stripe (orange, no less) and it was a killer racing machine in the mid-'60s. Sooooooo how 'retro' are you willing to go?
