no, but you might be a ricer.... big lip, heavy, polished wheels? as opposed to small lip, forged lightweight wheels??
paint will just wear off wheels on the track after awhile won't it?

RH R5's arent the highest quality wheels out there... they are pretty darn heavy too...
Some people like the look... I prefer function over form...

If my car wasnt a daily driver i would mind as much... 60000 miles on my car now... about 40000 with the hood...
And to think this is only from a few days of rain that we had in california... if I was in a more humid envrionment it would be far worse...
Once I get another car / truck (long time away) I will not worry about this, but while most of my driving was spirited street driving and some track time, I could have dealt without it (had to replace valve cover seals once because of oil leak)...
The next hood I am going to get is going to be vented as well, but am looking for one that does not have the center hole like this one... something like the top secret hood, something like that...

yeah i'm going to be using the liner whenever it rains and keep a roll of duct tape in the car so i can at the very least tape up the vents under the hood if it were to start raining while i'm at work.
In AZ, when it rains, it RAINS. or it's a monsoon with huge wind/dust storm, and rain

Just so everyone knows, not all polished lip wheels are heavy. Majority might be but some are not as heavy as you think. The beloved Volks on the other hand are heavier than you think. You don't have to take my word for it tho...
Get a scale and when you get a chance weigh them with tires and air in the tires. Then compare them to something of the same size.

most 19" volks are 26-29lbs... These are not light weight wheels compared to some others, but they are lighter then some other 19" lower quality wheels of similar look...
Volk LE37 / LE28N / TE37 / CE28N are their lighter wheels, they are solid piece forged wheels, more expensive then the multi piece...
The LE volks are Diamond Cut which IMHO looks better then Polished Lips no matter what the size...

last time I buy a replica kit...
The body shop already did a ton of prep work to it, if I would have know how much they had to do I would have just put factory body parts back on...
either way, imnot expecting the front bumper to last that long... so well see what happens
