Default Shaving Fenders?

Guys, i have been doing searching on reworking the rear fenders for fat rubber in the rear.

My question is. Would it be a good idea to shave down the inner fender with a dremel for more clearance instead of rolling? Would there still be a chance of paint/clear starting to chip?

well.. heres my thoughts. if you dremel it, spray it with clear, thatll take the chances of paint chipping down somewhat and stop rust. just roll the fenders.

Really depends on your wheel offsets and tire size. For example I have a 10.5 +22 wheel in the rear with 285 and it fits fine with mild rolling. Though I've seen the same wheel setup with 295 and that required cutting.
