Default Feeler: Custom Plastic Mesh For Body Kits & Grills

Diesel1 & I just wanted to gauge interest on who would want high quality PLASTIC mesh for their aftermarket body kits. We will post pics up soon, but the mesh would not chip since it's black plastic. It is very simlar in design to the Data Systems grill mesh (diamond pattern). We would offer 2 sizes and be selling them by the piece or for a full kit. For example the Replica KS kit would include large mesh for the front bumper and smaller (tighter mesh) for the rear bumper. Prices will be very reasonable and it will add the finishing touch to your aftermarket body kit.

We would be sending a rough size with plenty of additional mesh so you can trim to your desire. In addition, we would also provide the wire that will be needed to secure the mesh.

Pricing examples: Mesh for Data Systems or Gialla sized grills would be around $15-$20. A complete KS mesh kit with large and small mesh for front and rear bumpers would be around $60.

THIS WILL NOT BE THE HOME DEPOT SPECIAL!!!! This mesh is high quality and nearly identical to what the original kits come with.

Black plastic mesh, will not chip, flake, peel, etc!

PIC 4 - Large Mesh Close

Can you get any larger mesh than the one pictured above? I'm definately interested. Where are you located in NY? Maybe, I can meet you some where to check it out.

Bumping this back up, is anyone still interested? We have a bunch for the G35 so far and we could hook some 350Z owners up with some discounts for getting us the specs for aftermarket Z bumpers.

Let me know.

Thanks.

Once I decide between the Stillen V2 and the N-spec urethane, I will send you the specs. I think the N-spec (NISMO) is really the stock opening, but it has a center bar and a plate above that.

No I don't have the stock size, do you happen to have that measurement? It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

We also have a bunch of pics of the mesh installed over at www.customautomesh.com.

Nice. See that your 350Z area is bare. The rough outside opening is from 37" to 37 1/2", and around 8" tall, it is narrower at the bottom than top, and tapers in to a smaller opening. Best bet would be to cut a cardboard to fit, then measure and cut.

Yeah we mostly have G35 bumpers since we have more access to those. Thanks for the measurements, once you have that new bumper let us know and we'll hook you up.

Hey thanks for the interest. We just put up the stock Z bumper grille. We offer 2 sizes but recommend the larger weave for front bumper applications.

Thanks.
