Default need help with seats, once again.

im finally getting the things i need in line for my new seats and harnesses.
here is what i am planning to go with:
Driver sear - Sparco Fighter - http://www.hopupracing.com/spfise.html

.. yeah thats basically what i have thus far. my budget is $1000 for just the drivers seat, harness, harness bar, and seat brackets. will i be able to use OEM seat brackets for these seats? the site doesnt offer any seat brackets.. so im hoping i can. what harness bars are people using in their Zs? also, as for the harness, im looking for one that will keep me safe at the track, but isnt a hassel for daily use. ive been looking at these http://www.hopupracing.com/grspha.html or this http://www.hopupracing.com/spshparaseha.html

if anybody has any suggestions, please help! include links and price too!

you wont be able to use the OEM seat brackets... and as for the Wedge ones that Sparco uses, they suck *** for fitment. if you can afford it. go custom rails. should cost you around $300 but they will make sure you can slide freely, not have the seat TOO high that your helmet hits, and you'll prolly be safer.

as for harness bars, i think there is a shop in Hayward that makes custom bars. scubasteve had them custom made.. you should PM him on 350zmotoring. otherwise there is Kirk Racing, but the bar doesnt go high enough to the roof line...

the harness.. may i suggest Sparco ones. They're made by Schroth Racing and i love my 5point quick-cam lock Schroths... be sure to weld the eye ports into the body with a steel plate!! just dont use the harness in daily driving cuz you wont be able to turn your head to check the blind spots..

Seat $400-550
Rails $300
Harness $200
Roll Bar $500

if you cant afford the Harness/Roll bar, just get the Seat and C-G-lock seatbelt contraption.. its great.

Sparco basemounts suck? I guess I got lucky.. My driver side fit like a glove and my passenger side is on its way to my house now so I will let you know about the fitment. Price on sparco basemounts are 100-130 bucks..

Call MidAtlantic Trading and ask for Rick at 609-758-9800, tell him Memed sent you

Mounting side mount seats WITH sliders, then yea. they sucked hardcore. raised the seat way too high to clear with a helmet..
i think if you got the Corsa with the base it would be ok with no slider...

i dunno i didnt have any luck with them.. the passenger one was even worse due to the non-level mounting points for the seat-..
