They do definitely look good, but they'd look much, much better clear IMO.

I'm definitely gonna get the clear reflectors....doubt I'll get the LEDS though.

Thanks for sharing the pics.

Chaz,

Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. You really think the bumper was that hard to take off? I still think its easy but I guess I am mechanically talented then? Althought I still don't think so.

A couple of questions as we want to make sure everyone is happy with these kits. First the wire length was not long enough? When we installed mine we had the bumper close to the body so that we could clip them on. As we did not want much slack.

The question i did have for you is did you break that foam bumper piece when you guys took that off? I didn't take that foam piece of since I didn't see any need to and I looked in back and it looked like it would brake if I took it off.

Once again thanks for sharing your pictures and your input!

Everyone hurry up and start posting your LED installs in other colors. I can't wait to see what they look like on other cars such as silver stone, black etc..

Zya!

He made it look easy.....i was realy afraid of breaking the clips or something but once he did it i Probly could have done it my self....but the hard part was getting to the Parking lights wire.. the Extra wire just made it a litlle easer,(and he did not use the clips he soderd the wires) he hooked in to the wire up in the light almost so there was now way it could come loose or get wet or even seen.. this was the first set he has done and everybody i know with a Z in the Dallas area is thinking about doing it( they just wanted to see mine frist) I think TXSTYLE will be doing his very soon!!! but he wants Clear lens/White LEDs on his CS

i dont know why he took of the foam pice he did that when i whent out for a smoke but i will ask him later

Homer (the installer) said he had to undo the foam to get to the bolts for the lights... he undid the lights so where he taped in to the wire would be complety hiden... and no it did not break

That's just it! They aren't SUPPOSED to cover the entire lens. They are supposed to simply light up in three distinct dots of light a la the Z theme of 3 dots. Get it?

BTW, at any time during the installation, did "Homer" go: "DOH!"

I'll have to agree with AznFiend. Yeah it the 3 led dots might go with the theme of the Z, but at the same time it does look homemade (for what it cost I want a factory looking part)

The whole part should light up to look nice, maybe like amber indigo (like on some of the light up badges)

Default I purchased a set of these.....

and there was no mention on the website of the great difficulty it would take to install. I had no desire to take off the front bumper for fear of screwing something up. I was greatly disappointed. Sent them back to Strictly Z yesterday.

Let that be a lesson to all of us on aftermarket parts. If they do not disclose the installation process in their information, don't buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Except that on every thread that introduced these they mentioned taking off the front bumper.

If they do not disclose the installation process in their information, don't buy

Default kohlersc...

They were ordered well ahead of these threads.....

Aside from that they were ordered off the StrictlyZ website, not through these threads.

Again, go to the site yourself and look for the disclosure. Wow, not there!!! Imagine the surprise at the five pages of installation instructions, with photos so dark the process is not legible.

Zunzet350z,

You don't really have to remove the bumper, as some of the members here have already installed their LEDs with only removing the splashguards and using the "S-shaped" phillip screw driver to access the passenger side sidemarker's screws.

Get used to it.

Know what you have to do to simply replace a headlamp bulb in a 350?

Yep, pull the bumper...this directly from the shop manual.

My LEDs are arriving in Jan.

I'll post pictures of them on my Super Black.

Here's the deal I've got one roll of film going with the following on it.

Passport 8500 Installation pictures

Platinum Tint Pictures

LED Pictures

Only Mod I'm missing is LEDs, once installed I'm posting pictures of it all.

Having no digital camera sucks...
