Default dynamat removal

anyone have any suggestions as to how to remove dynamat and all the factory sound deadening material?

dry ice and/or heat seem to be the common methods, but there must be a chemical that can weakend the bond.

feel free to post any suggestions, thanks!

A heatgun can soften up the dynamat and you can eventually peel it away, although it may leave some of the sticky material behind. Some goo gone may be able to clean that up.

Be really careful around dry ice - it burns skin and can displace oxygen enough to kill you. Gloves, eyeglasses, and well ventillated area. Contact with water it also a bad thing.
