I don't feel so bad. I think I need to get better at taking it on and off though, as I was quoted $450 to repair it. New bumper costs ~$550 (according to the site) and I only paid $1,000 shipped for the kit in the first place, plus under $1,000 for paint and install.

Paying nearly $500 to just fix and repaint the front seems bad compared to that. Something wrong there...

I dropped her off at the shop, so no pictures. I have one from before when it wasn't too bad, but not looking the worst. I don't want to see it again, heh... until it's all better.

There are some ridiculous dip around the area I now work. Little sidestreets that intersect other sidestreets and even main roads that seem to have been built with too damn many V shaped rain channels.

I asked if they had a "once a month fixin' plan" ...

Ha ha...20" wheels = TOO BIG!! LOL realistically, the diameter of a 20" wheel vs. a 19 " wheel on a 35 sidewall is probably what, .5"? I'm too lazy to go and do the math.

Of course! Do you happen to know what your ground clearance was prior to the 20's and what it is now?

i didn't measure before and after. However, before with 19" wheel, i have to watch out each time hitting the bump or turn to the parking lot. Now, i don't have to do all of that as much as i used too.

That's cool. What are your tire dimensions on the 20's?

Also, I can't tell if you've got fogs in that bumper or not (it kinda doesn't look like it) but if you're interested, here's a link to the ones that are on my car. They look awesome on the car and were very affordable ($3 for the set). They come with all the wiring hardware too.... Hope this helps bro!

i bought the fog light already but lazy to take off the bumper out and wire them again. Will do them when i'm in the mood. hehehe

tire config:

255x35x20
285x30x20

if you think about changing to 20", i would recommend this config:

265 front and 305 rear. Ofcourse, depend on your wheel offset.

he he..yes....It was supposed to be $43 (though looking at the site I see that they are $46, not $43) Still a LOT better than Vizage sells these for, something like $125.....check out the link I posted. They fit like a champ, and IMHO, they look great. They even offer two different lens colors.

Yeah, to be honest, I couldn't see where you got the "3" from at all, but figured it was some mistake. $125 is high, sheesh. I guess I actually got a pretty decent deal on the kit, as it came with fogs, shipped, for just under $1,000. Pity I have to pay nearly half that to get the front fixed and resprayed, but it still seemed slightly better than getting a new front and having that sprayed and installed. Made me think though.

You definitely got a good deal on the kit. IIRC, I payed $1750 for the kit w/wing (which lists for $625) and fogs shipped. I haven't damaged my front bumper yet, but I've got a nasty crack in one of my side-skirts that I need to have fixed.

That sounds about right (very close). I think the price has increased slightly since I got it. I'm wingless (ironic for a Chicken, eh?). I hope you don't damage the front bumper, though it is low and the first thing that will hit. I had been doing pretty good, until I tried to go into (down into) a parking structure. The decline was steep and since there was a ticket booth, there was no way to enter sideways and angled. You just had to hit it straight in, which proved to be painful. Watch those.

My wheels only come up to 19" (I'm not even sure if they come in any other size). I'd have to look around *again* for an alternate choice. The Mayas you have were ones I was looking at when I was into the Volk-GTC (funny enough). I think they look better than the GTC's, but decided to go another route. Bean's Milanos were another top choice.

Yes, I know, but I don't have GTC's, nor do I like them all that much. Current wheels are Progressiv Spokes.
