Even tho they don't match, I have something I'm working on. Which will work for any part on the car to be come CF. This will replace all of our CF kits.

Got some in with clear coat on it. Looks much better this way. Shows the carbon fiber reflection even more.

You still can remove it with fishing wire or dental flosse. Then clear coat it!

cool. I'll try that then. How many clear coat are you suggesting? 1 or 2?

When I did it the first time. I only put one. But dry carbon sucked in the clear coat, so it was not enogh. After try many time. This is what I suggest. To get a nice clear surface. You have to spary like 5 times at once. You will noitce the clear coat turn milky. DOn't worry about it. Let it sit for half hour, the air inside the clear coat will be dissolve. I would suggest you put it under hot light source for about an hour. That would make the surface very shinny!

Good post. I was one of the ones that got it without clear either. I'm putting on the clear as we speak!

Is there a lot of glare on the windshield with the shiny clearcoat though?

Yes, there will be. This is why we were selling the dull dry carbon cover first. But they don't looks as good as the clearcoat version. - Jay
