After ANY Nismo performance parts go into my car, there will definitely be a logo decal on the right side of my trunk lid, but other than that, NO stickers/decals anywhere else on the car. Cept maybe a K&N sticker "under" the hood near the intake.

Individualism! This country (assuming you are in the US) was based on it. It’s each person’s responsibility to his or her self to do what makes him or her happy. (Can you hear the national anthem playing in the background?) It is not the responsibility of others, although some idiots think it is, to determine what is or isn’t “ricey”. Granted there are vehicles out there that make you go “hum, I wonder what the hell they were thinking?” But doesn’t this happen with the color of your house or the clothes you wear? Ever see a 250 lb. Woman in a mini skirt? Not a pretty site but if it makes her happy….
In my case there are 3 PPW Z’s in this area. I don’t want anyone to confuse my car with the others so I added a small kit and the Nismo badge to the sides for my own individualism.
Some of you will look at my avatar and think “good God all mighty what is he thinking? That is so ricey.” and it is to you that I humbly say two things…..
1. “Before you judge, go buy a Z of your own” and
2. “Frankly I don’t give a crap what you think.”

Only sticker on my car is my Texas A&M Century Club sticker. Dammit, I pay 100 bucks a year for the privilege to have that sticker, so it's going on my car!
Only other way is if I had to from sponsorhips, but I prefer to have a track only car for that.

Once I have the S-Tune suspension and a Nismo ECU (if one is released), I'll probably get a single, clean, small Nismo emblem somewhere. That is about it.
kitkos - Are the letters on your silver or black? I can't tell.

I have one sticker now from crazyshirts.com in the middle bottom of my window cause I wear alot of their clothes. It's small and discreet.
Now, I'll be getting a homestarrunner or strong bad little sticker to put somewhere on my car.

I don't have any stickers right now but my old z32tt mechanic sponsers a couple of cars a year and has asked when my Z comes in this week if I would be interested in a sponsership. All I have to do is go to 4 or 5 local events and place a small AMS (absolute motor sports) sticker on my Z. In return I get free labor, parts at his cost, free dynos and articles in a magazine he writes in. I am not a big sticker fan either but when he starts talking about intakes exhaust, pulleys and TURBOS how can I say no. After all its just a sticker and it can be removed its not like I have to paint the car for him.

It does depend. If subtle, well designed, nicely placed and paying homage to something like a full Nismo kit then I think they can look cool. Not my taste but I like the little Nismo's on Kitkos car for example. The bottom line is - if you like 'um put 'um on.

Decals on "Marilyn"
I switched out rearend gears (as a mod, not a repair) while on the road these past several weeks. The outfit that did it for me is called Z1 Motorsports and I think their decal is a classy one, especially as the "Z" is so pronounced. I am happy to have Marilyn wear it. Take a look.
Regards, Jim

I agree wit a lil bit of other people's of your sponsored or racing by all means go for it, if you support a companies product sure (ex. nismo). If you want to make yours stand out alil more because thats your deal, fine. Granted i don't agree wit putting incorrect logos, i think thats "ricey" or whateva but its still his/her car, if they like it.. great. I just also agree this term "rice" is getting thrown around way too much. The mirage pictured above IS ricey but hey maybe he is just starting to fix it up and can't afford rims or finish painting the body kit. Sure people can have opinions about other peoples cars but its still not your car. But also there are special cases like a geo metro wit a drag racing spoiler. You have to think some people like to keep it simple some like to make it loud. To each his own. If I decide to throw a big decal or whateva on my Z, until you start makin payments on MY Z you have no say you may disagree but its still my Z. If you like give props if you want if you don't let me know but if it makes me or whateva person happy then thats all that should matter.
Now on a side note when I used to live in Miami I used to always this canary yellow Ferrari spyder i think, wit large confetti pieces painted or decaled all over the body. Used to crack everyone up when it drove by. Thats just wrong i think.
