Wth? Are we doing something wrong?

Pull the orig tail out , uplug, tape small plug and then reverse with the new light right? Any steps missed??

Only thing is the plug on the clear tail doesnt fit the plug from the car, line the knotches up.

As you can see the plugs backwards.

I think you either haven't unplugged enough, or you unplugged one too many things. I could be wrong, but for the "normal" 2006 LED taillights, I thought I ended up in a similar predicament, but everything ended up working out once I figured out that I pulled one to many things.

However, since those are the clear ones, they might be different.

One thing nobody ever mentioned was shaving the plugs

Just got off the phone with Tony over at performance. His instructions are to carefully shave off the knotches on the car wiring plugs as marked in yellow in the pic.

Then plug in place. (Thanks again Tony)

He also said only the 06's tail plug will fit the JDM clear plug. Another very tiny change nissan did

Now to finally put these suckers in

Appearantly you have to shave off the small notch with a razor blade on the stock harness, thats all thats required.

Yeah, this was news to me today about the clear LED ones...

I thought tony told me he didnt have to do anything when doing them on his car, but I guess I missed when he said he had to do that...

None of that at all needs to be done on the 06 RED Led lights...
