Hey Jason,
Any chance you can take a picture of your car next to a SS? I'm considering going with a similar color when I'm up for a new paint job. I just think that color would look hawt with some blacked out headlights & tinted taillights.
Thanks!

From my fiberglass experience pay the money to save the money. You will regret buying the cheaper part. Unless you are really good at FG.
Jason Car looks really good. Not worth going through bumpers every week?
I want to see those 18x12. Which ones??

Not sure what it would normally cost... Some guy side swipped my Z while it was parked infront of the dealer... so the whole left side needed to be painted anyway... so i decided to have it painted properly with M1 and pay the difference...

You can buy a C-WEST full fiberglass bumper body kit, it could cost $1500 to paint and fit with perfect paint good clear etc...
You can buy a C-West full fiberglass bumper body kit REPLICA< it could cost you $450 and cost you $4000 to paint etc...
different fiberglass materials react different to paint, there is no telling how the paint is going to take to the body kit... with alot of the replica fiberglass kits, alot of prep work is involved, prepping over and over and over again... just to get the paint to stock and be smooth... but, you dont know if it is going to bubble up after a few weeks...
Best thing to do with a body kit if you are going to do it IMHO, is get the real body kit... You will end up spending less in the long run and have better fit, better quality over all...
You can get a replica kit, but it will cost more $ to get it done properly...
Urethane kits arent always better... alot of urethane bumpers can have little bubbles that come out when they are sanded...
Thankfully the KurumaZ bumper is great quality...
The NISMO USDM body kit stuff is OEM quality... Easy to paint and not have problems...

Volk used to make larger width sizes... Im going to see what I can do with maybe a GT-N or something if they can make that size...
If not im going to have a CCW wheel made, ill end up using them on the track... but if I do the CCW wheels I will have 17x12 in the rear / 18x10 up front...

Great info... thx Jason
So even it comes with perfect fitment... it will cost $$$$$$$$ to paint the bumper....
I am planning to pay 300-400 for the paint job only Don't think it is enough for the fiberglass bumper...
