Rear Wiper Removal ... Paint
Got my Hillman plug from Lowe's now I need to paint it. I bought both the nylon/plastic and metal to see which is easier to paint. What is the best way to paint these plugs and how to do it, what did you use? TIA

If they're plastic, you'll need something like Bulldog Adhesion Promoter. It sticks to plastic so paint will stick to it. You can find it at just about any auto parts store.
You can order a can of spray that matches the factory colors from http://www.towerpaint.com
All you need is your paint code.
Finally, you'll want to finish it off with some clearcoat, that too is available at just about any autoparts store.
You'll need to sand the plugs with some very fine paper to roughen them up a little. Then you'll want to clean them with acetone or some other solvent/degreaser before starting with the primer and paint. Hit it with a couple coats of the color then a few of the clearcoat.
