Default Varis Heat Shields Installed

Here are the Varis CF exhaust heat sheilds installed. This CF addiction is worse than nose candy.

Looks great! A buddy of mine used to have those, and fitment was top notch. Too bad i can't use them with my Cwest rear lip.

As I had a really hard time finding a bumper I liked, I thought these would do the trick. Too bad the side diffusers are so expensive, or I would get those also. BTW, the fitment was perfect, they are each serial numbered, and I got them from Tony @ performance nissan. Thanks Tony, and Merry Christmas!

Those are the Veilside version 1 under wings.

Not feeling the exhaust thingies; looks tacked on.

Yes, Tony mounted them with tape. I tried it, and didn't like the look. So after some hemming and hawing......I took the plunge.

I like it. Did you ever consider painting the rivets black to kind of smooth out the look?

I thought of that, also of using anodized rivets, couldn't make up my mind what to order, but they are easy to drill out and replace so when I find something suitable I will do so.

zboy: I always disliked cf on cars, but it is like crack...an addiction. I intended to paint the hood right away, but I kind of like it, next I got the B pillars...now the heat shields...looking at something for the mirrors...it's out of control!!!!

hehe, you're preaching to the choir. there are currently two cf side mirror covers out there that i've seen, one with smaller pattern which i have, and one with a larger pattern that actually matches my hood better but came out after i bot mine. imo, the cf/lemans contrast looks good.

The ones you bought leave the part nearest the driver uncovered, isn't that correct?
The Evo-R ones leave the bottom and the edge to the rear uncovered.
I was thinking of these:

actually, the ones i bot cover the whole mirror, sides and bottom. i over-applied the glue gun to the seams in the one closeup, but you can see where the seams are.
