Default Hatch inside cover, how to remove?

While my car is hibernating for the winter I thought that now would be a good time to remove the rear wiper. Blade came off without much effort but I'm having trouble getting the inside plastic cover off to get the motor out. Other threads have said things like "remove plastic cover" but I'm having a real hard time doing it.

Can I pry that thing off without hurting it? Will it go back on?

Tx

Yes, just pull it off but be careful not to bend or crack it. I used a plastic spatula and just worked my way around the outside edge until I had all the plastic clips released. There are 8 clips total and they are all located on the outside edge of the plastic cover. You will probably break some of the plastic clips in the process but do not fear they are cheap and easy to replace.

Worked great. Didn't even break any of the clips.

BTW, the hole is about 0.935" or about 24mm Dia.

Thanks, I found them at the local parts store. The GM types are the same.
