Default Shift **** loose

I had the shop install a nismo shift ****. It is now loose and when i race it turns in my hand. I bought super glue today to fix the problem.

Does anyone have advice for when I take off and re-attach the shifter. Should I put super glue all over the shifter? How many turns should I put on it when reinstalling it?

If anyone has done this any help would be great. Thanks, robby

Thanks for the info. Why not super glue? Just curious. I don't want it to come off. I think I could break the super glue seal if I needed it off?

Super glue is a bad idea imo. It is a bonding agent that you will not be happy with it's properties. Use the blue (temporary) loctite. There is a reason that is such a popular product. As far as how many turns, it is a "until tight and properly aligned situation. Good luck

BTW loctite is like $2 for a small tube that will do many jobs of this size.
