Default Close up shot of S2000 antenna mounted

Does anyone have a close up pic of their s2000 short antenna mounted? I put my roommates antenna on and it looked a lil odd. The base of the antenna was wider than that on the Z. What would be a good choice to retain good reception and have it sit nicely?

if you bother by that, then get the Honda Element. Fit a bit flusher.

Damn yours fits really good; better than my Honda Element. Are you sure its an S2000 antenna and not a JDM Altezza/IS300 antenna?

Yeah whatever it is, it matches up well. It even seems to have the same glossy black finish. Do you have any reception problems?

I'm 50 miles from most of Los Angeles' radio stations and get poor to fair reception - a bit less than the full sized antenna.

Mine sits flush and I didnt lose any reception. I pick up stations that are about 60-90 miles away with no issues. You can also use the antennas off of Acura MDX's, same one.

Yes it is. The fitting is not near perfect to the base, but close to it. I think some people are way too picky.

that and that the s2k/element antenna are matt rubber and the base on the Z is a glossy black...but I still love the s2k antenna way more than that lightning rod they call the stock antenna.

I took my antenna off my Denali because I dont listen to FM radio anymore, Sirius all the way! But I see there would be a stub sicking up if you removed the antenna from the Z so it wouldnt look right without an antenna.
