Has anyone installed a 04 center console with navi into a 03 with navi?

 

it should be the same as the 03 the only difference would be how the navi door works. I have the 04 bose in a 03 and everything fit perfect.

 

See, that's my biggest concern, is the door navi. I heard the navi door open electronically when you start the car.

I recently saw a 04 center console sold on ebay and was wondering if you can put it into a '03 because I want the dark plastic look as well as the automatic navi door.

 

The 04 head unit does have a black look as opposed to the 03 but I know the 04 nav door pops up and does not retract like the 03 does.....what are you trying to do ??

 

I want to take a 04 center console and replace my 03 center console. I want to see if anyone has done it before.
